Risk Management 101 (Live Online Training)

In this live online session, Satarla instructors provide an interactive tutorial, guiding learners through the core aspects of enterprise risk management, with hands-on tips and tricks so leaners can master the basics required for successful implementation of effective risk management.

Utilising international standards, core frameworks, practical tools, and case studies, this session will explore how to identify, assess and respond to risks to build resilience, capture opportunities, and reduce threats. Using real-world examples, hands-on exercises, and takeaway resources and tools for immediate application of enterprise risk management that can strengthen your organisation and its long-term success.

You will learn about ISO 31000, COSO, risk identification and assessment methods (e.g. bowties, risk maps), risk controls, business impact analysis, monitoring and reporting, and risk-informed decision making utilised by organisations across a wide range of industries.

The key to successful risk management is the enabling and enaction of change across an organisation. This course will therefore also focus on material controls, and how to measure them for their effectiveness.
