Risk Mini Masterclass (Live Session)

Price range: £0.00 through £49.00

Description

Risk Mini Masterclasses are a new series of short, live, expert-led sessions designed to make enterprise risk management more practical, accessible, and actionable.

Led by Dr Sarah Gordon, these 90-minute online sessions explore one core risk topic at a time, from controls and risk appetite to emerging risks, governance, risk culture, and resilience. Each session is designed to go beyond theory, combining practical insight, real-world examples, and live discussion in a format that is more interactive than a webinar and more accessible than a full-day course.

Whether you are new to risk management, returning to the fundamentals, or looking to strengthen your existing practice, these sessions offer a valuable opportunity to learn from an experienced practitioner and engage with others navigating similar challenges.

Who is this for?

This session is designed for:

  • Professionals new to risk management who want a practical introduction to key concepts.

  • Practitioners refreshing their knowledge of enterprise risk management.

  • Managers and decision-makers who work with risk but may not have formal training.

  • Individuals reviewing or improving their organisation’s approach to risk management.

  • Participants interested in understanding how organisations apply international risk management frameworks in practice.

Previous participants in Satarla training have included:

Chief Risk Officers, Risk Managers, Analysts, CEOs, Audit Managers, HSE Managers, Sustainability Professionals, Finance Risk Managers, Quality Managers, and professionals working across a range of operational and governance roles.

Format & Schedule

This session takes place as a live online session lasting 90 minutes.

The session combines short teaching segments, practical examples, and interactive discussion to help participants connect risk management concepts to real organisational challenges. Sessions operate under Chatham House Rule where appropriate, to encourage honest discussion. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and reflect on how the ideas discussed apply to their own organisational contexts.

Sessions are delivered live online and accessible globally.
